Fun place to wash car by myself.

Dinner at 明るいけど午後7時

We were invited to the party at our friend's apartment with a grand view of the bay on Saturday night. Three families including 5 kids got together and we enjoyed the homemade pizza, fried rice, dim sum, etc.

I tweeted about many telemarketing calls to my cell a few months ago. Then Tatsuhiko told me about National Do Not Call Registry. I quickly registered and filed some complaints. So I could have quieter life..... until they started to call me.

They are 8889003194. They call me everyday and 3 times a day. They are talking about 24 hours fitness club. They don't stop talking even if I say I don't understand. If I push the "Ignore" button, they leave the voice message. And I call the message center to delete the message. It costs 10 cents.

段ボール2段重ねの机、知人にもらったサイドボード（だから極端に低い）を経て、ようやく今日、普通の机を買ってもらいました。IKEA で 70 ドル。
しかしちょっと位置が高いため、椅子の座面に布団を敷き詰め調節しております。

この週末は暑かった。

車を買いました。人生初。

今年は長男もキンダーにあがるし、毎日の送迎で必要になる予定なので。そういえばサンフランシスコの公立校の抽選結果が1ヶ月ほど前に送られてきてましたが、うちの子は第4志望の学校になりました。残念。まぁ応募前に見学した時の印象は悪くなかったからいいのですが。

そんな長男の英語力、プレスクールではちょっとした会話のやりとりをすることもあるらしいけど、家では “No!” “Stop it!” “Watch out!” “Don't touch!” のようなネガティブな発言しかしたことないのでどれほどのものかはよくわからない。

Finally I got a car for the first time in my life.

We need that for driving my son to and from school from this summer. He got an assignment offer for the 4th choice of public schools in San Francisco in my list. But that'd be fine because my impression of that school was good when I took the school tour.

We're worried about my son's English skill for attending kindergarten. He has used the negative words only at home -- such as "No!", "Stop it!", "Watch out!" and "Don't touch!". Per the teacher, recently he has small conversations in the preschool though.

最近は寒くて雨もよく降っていましたが、今日は久しぶりに快晴でかなり暖かかったです。そこで今日は家族で Hillsdale （ヒルズデール）のショッピングセンターへ行くことに。

サンフランシスコのダウンタウンに買い物に行ったりすると、子供がすぐに「もう帰りたい」とか言い出してなかなか連れて歩くのが大変です。なのでショッピングセンターみたいに色んな店がまとまっているところに行けば、子供が時間潰せそうなところもありそうだし、買い物も歩き回らなくてすむからということで。
車でフリーウェイにのって30分弱ぐらいのところです。

ということで行ってきました。Hillsdale！

なんでカルトレイン？

家からカルトレインの駅まで（子連れなのでちょっと遅めで）徒歩20分。そして Hillsdale まではカルトレインで40分。ちなみに週末は一時間に1本しか走っておらず各駅停車のみ。

ということで、Hillsdale での滞在時間30分、その後またカルトレインに乗り、1時間かけて家に帰りました。
4人家族が週末にカルトレインに乗ってショッピングに行く。ないわこれ。
